Volume 1 Chapter 1 – Beginning of a New Life
The France soldiers had this last opportunity to delay the german soldier from reaching their territory before the United Nation sent their squadron of F-22 Raptor.
The plan created by all the war experts of France was to kill the squadron leader of the German army as they kept ascending deep into the forest.
All soldiers were taken to their action spots on a hover military truck with a capacity of twenty-five people. Everybody had a dead expression on their faces which was right due to the situation suddenly the driver calls out “The truck can’t go any further, use your feet for the rest of the journey, Good luck!”
Jake cries out “let’s do it people” as everyone gently taps on their chest deploying the nano suit, in seconds the nanobots covered their entire body with grey metallic bulletproof armour and a helmet with three red glass sensors. soldiers looked at each other, shook their heads and started to take cover and their suits started to change colours and blend in with the colours of the environment surrounding them.
The German soldier set up a camp deep in the forest, there were five camps one of which was very distinctive from others as it was bigger than the normal camps and was heavily guarded by the looks of it, German commander Smith Schmidt was living there.
Frances soldiers start their plan of taking the perimeter defences of the German camps as they wipe out the outer guards Jake and his team dash through the sides of the camp walls like shadows no one noticed them entering but suddenly a torrent deploys from behind the bush and starts firing as two more torrents take aim starts firing.
“Take cover!” Jake yells and throws a smoke grenade on the ground while shaking his hand and activating an energy shield generator and all of the soldiers disappear in thin air Jake the only one left on the ground unconscious. commander Smith orders his men “Tie him up, the rats will come out on their own”.
Jake’s team was puzzled after he got captured nobody was thinking straight and everybody was freaking out then Luke came out of the crowd taking his helmet off and said: “We will continue with the plan and bring back Jake”.
Nobody spoke but their faces showed their terror, they were young recruits sent to the battlefield. nobody wants to die, then suddenly a woman from the crowd sprint towards the German base yelling “Helmets on guns out people it’s time to lite em up” everyone seeing her so confident starts marching towards the German base
Luke: Thanks, Jessica!
Jessica: Somebody had to do it.
Luke looks into the hologram map on his left arm and says “people split, take down anyone who is a threat” Jessica takes the lead of one of the groups clearing a path for Luke’s group to rescue Jake and kill commander Smith.
Luke confirms the location of Jake through the tracker in Jake’s suit and in a matter of seconds the base was cleared two hundred German soldiers wiped out but there were twenty thousand still left on the field. Although they searched the entire base they could not locate Jake instead they found his suit in the Smith’s cabin, for a moment everyone lost hope and all had a melancholy expression on there face and at the same moment a call comes on the com from battalion B “BA do you copy” luke answer the call “this is BA over” then Battalion B “We have located the German commander he is travelling through Sector-67 on a tank catch him before he goes on the battlefield to his people, over” Luke answers “We copy”
Luke: They have found that asshole, Let’s roll people.
Luke leads his team towards Sector-67, now their plan of action was to go around the forest and intercept him on the outskirts of the forest. They meet Smith riding a tank and Jake unconscious was tied on the back. After seeing this site Luke becomes infuriated and orders him to fire to kill and bring back Jake.
“Hahaha, You can’t stop me” spoke Commander Smith as he pushed a red button on the left panel and activated pulse cannons shooting out large balls of energy which if made a contact with an object blew it away like a toothpick blown away with a slight blow of air. Luke orders his team to avoid the blows as he took out a grenade vest and dashes towards Smith’s tank, cuts his way through the hard tank metal armour from the upper side and unpins all the grenades as he reaches the pilot room as he thought he was about to die, a hand from behind took off his vest and opens the back door pushing him out.
Luke was confused as this happened really fast. He stared at the person and saw Jake smirking while giving a salute and closed the door “JAKE!” yells Luke and the tank blows with a really big explosion alerting the German soldier in the distance.
“Ahah, Where am I” Jake speaks in a very low voice as he scratches his head remembering that he died when the tank blew up, he had a lot of question like where was he and why everything here is dark and there is no limit to the extent of space then suddenly a screen appears in front of him where he could see that the people of France were joyfully dancing on the streets and every shop was lighting up with joy as the Frances soldiers marched through them.
They were being awarded for the bravery they showed and everybody was called to stage to share a few words after a couple of entries Luke was called on stage he spoke “To tell you guys the truth this award does not belong to us but Jake who gave his life to protect this country, So I would just ask you guys two stay silent for five minutes and respect the dead”
Jake starters crying after hearing Luke as he knew after his death, the difference between people due to the wall of status would be destroyed and know commoners would given the respect and facilities they deserve.
Suddenly an unknown entity spawns behind him and says “Do you like it”
Jake: Yeah, it’s wonderful everyone is happy
Entity: But are you?
Jake: Don’t know.
Entity: what would you do if I gave you another chance to live your life?
Jake at first thought that he was just joking but after thinking for a while and looking at his body which was pure white in colour and had no characteristics like a human being “How will you give me another chance?” the entity replies “You will know when you get it” Jake then became suspicious of the entity but as he had nothing left overhear he said “YES”.
The Entity started to vocalize some random words which seemed like some kind spell chanting straight out of a movie and everything started glowing like sun and it did not stop until it engulfed everything, at last, the Entity put his hand on Jake’s head and say “May you have a better life”
Jake opened his eyes only to find himself in the middle of the forest with no sign of human population to be seen.
